Vladimir Angelov

USA

In 1986 Vladimir Angelov graduates National Choreography School in Sofia, Bulgaria. He dances in Ballet Arabesk and is majoring in Phylosophy in Sofia University. 1990 he moves to USA and 1996 he graduates with masters in Arts in Washington University majoring in Contemporary Choreography.

He is a creator of many contemporary one act productions and is working with ballet groups in the USA  like Atlanta Ballet, Arizona Ballet, Indianapolis Ballet, Richmond Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Washington Ballet, etc. also travelled and worked Internationally with Alberta Ballet, Canada; Ballet Manilla, Philippines; National Ballet of Mexico; National Ballet of Finland; Tokyo City Ballet, Japan and Mariinski Ballet Saint Petersburg, Russia.

From 2003-2009 he is a main choreographer –ballet master in Washington National Opera in Kennedy Center under the leadership of Placido Domingo. From 2009-2014 he works as a teacher in the University of Washington and continue to actively travel  and create internationally.
From 2015 he is a main director of: The International Choreographers’ Organization and Networking Services-Dance ICONS, INC.
