Filip Milanov

Filip Milanov graduated from the National Academy of Theater and Film Arts with a degree in Theater of Movement. He is currently a soloist with the Arabesque Ballet and works as a contemporary dance performer at the Derrida Dance Company.
He is the co-founder and artistic director of Stream Dance Company. Since 2020 he has been the artistic director of the International Choreography Competition "Linkage".
Filip Milanov has worked as a choreographer for Arabesque Ballet, State Opera - Ruse, State Opera - Stara Zagora, State Opera - Plovdiv and others. He is the author of the choreography in a number of dance and theater projects performed on the independent dance stage.
He is the winner of an audience award, as well as the award of the international jury of the IX International Competition for Contemporary Choreography on Bulgarian Music "Margarita Arnaudova". In 2015 he received the ICARUS Award for Contemporary Dance and Performance, and in 2020, a Choreography Award from the Union of Music and Dance Artists.
